History

Sam’s Car Wash has been serving the Salisbury-Rowan area for sixty-two years.

Sam and Joyce Allen opened our first location in 1962 at 1022 W. Innes St. When Interstate 85 was built, Sam saw a need for location No. 2 at 800 E. Innes St. in 1968.

Sons Glenn and Sam continued Sam’s Car Wash expansion with a new location in Lexington, no longer operated by the Allen family. In 2016, father Glenn and son Dwight built a car wash at 310 Poplar Crossing in Concord

Because we are family-owned, Sam’s Car Washes and Sam’s Express Care offer our customers the best in products and customer service.

All wash locations use the well-recognized name products by Turtle Wax, while Express Care features Valvoline products.

Our business also cares for the environment, recycling and filtering our wash water and using biodegradable soap.

Sam’s offers a 48-hour clean car guarantee. With a wash purchase, for any reason within 48 hours, our customers can get a free rewash.

Sam’s Express Care offers oil changes, North Carolina State Inspection and many other services.
